For anyone that missed it last time it was on, BBC4 are showing Oil City Confidential tonight at 11.25

It celebrates Dr Feelgood and looks at Canvey Island as a Thames delta for British R & B.

Well worth watching.

I am going to see Dr Feelgood with Wilco Johnson in November in Manchester . Cant wait.
Saw them in the 70s at Lancaster University.

I am seeing him next Fri at The Thunderbolt in Bristol. It's not Dr Feelgood though, it's his current touring band, which is him, plus Norman Watt-Roy and Dylan Howe (both ex of The Blockheads) Should be a great night
