"We're thrilled to announce the documentation and celebration of Steve's journey to date with the release of Walkin' Man: The Best Of Seasick Steve on November 14th.

As well as a 21 track album featuring songs from Steve's debut to current album 'You Can't Teach An Old Dog New Tricks', there will be limited edition deluxe version of the album available which will features a bonus DVD of the storytelling documentary 'Bringing It All Back Home' and Steve's FIRST EVER full-length live DVD - recorded at London's Brixton Academy.

I've seen a couple of clips from the DVD and it looks and sounds fantastic - almost like being there.

I like the way the album tracks haven't been placed chronologically - clearly ordered with consideration for how they'll sound as an album. Its true I've already got all the tracks but I'll still look forward to hearing them in this order.

yeah, I ordered my copy a few days ago - looking forward to it.

And yes - a small december gig would be fab. But, Steve has done 18 shows over this last summer. He's damaged his vocal chords and needs to rest his voice a little bit. Steve's been forced to cancel his Germany performances (which, as we all know, he's extremely reluctant to do).

So, I don't think we'll get any new events scheduled just yet.

Still, we got that live DVD coming out next week (with the deluxe edition of the best of album). We've all wanted this for years! It was a fantastic gig. The preview video from the DVD looks stunning and Steve tells me it sounds excellent too - kinda like being there!
