New Project Question

Going through some life changing stuff... I have found the Blues and I have been woken up. Played Bluegrass Fiddle for severl years but just lost interest. For some reason I need to play - I just can't go back to acoustic stuff right now. I tried it last weeked and there is just no feeling there for me right now.

Has anyone ever rigged up a pickup that produces a sick, distorted F the world Blues tone to a Fiddle?

Any feedback is appreciated.
